Irrigation Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiast irrigation specialist/supervisor for the coming season.

Tasks:

- Help with the irrigation system maintenance and programing

- Help with diverse farm tasks such as fertilization, weeding, mowing, equipment maintenance, event setup and other farm tasks

- Crew lead as necessary

Term: Full-time work from end of April until mid September with possibility of extension until October. Work will be at the winery 745 PG Pulpmill Rd and occasionally Foreman rd.

Server/Front of House

Front of House Employees can expect shifts in our full-service restaurant and patio, our large and varied Events department, and Wine Shop.

Wine Shop Lead

Working closely with the Director of Services, this role involves managing budgeted labor hours, reconciling daily cash and deposits, updating wine club memberships, and responding to customer inquiries via email, Shopify messenger, and community text platforms.

Additionally, the Wine Shop Lead is responsible for training and supporting a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team, leading weekly tours, and maintaining well-organized and visually appealing retail and gift shop inventory. The position also includes responsibilities in planning for Wine Club activities, ordering new merchandise, and developing wine-related training materials to keep staff informed. With a regular schedule from Thursday to Monday, this role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality and wine culture.

Social Media Manager

Northern Lights Estate Winery is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and hard-working team player to work with us as a social media manager.

The social/digital component includes website development, photography, content creation, photo/video editing, direct to consumer programs and other advertising campaigns. They will be in charge of all things social/digital including some in person events and oversee a marketing budget. They are responsible for ensuring content reaches our consumers around Canada and manage the community connecting with us via DM’s and comments. Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays and do community management outside of their scheduled hours. They will also do projects for 2 companies within the group.

Orchard Labor

Northern Lights Estate Winery is the most northern winery and largest fruit winery in BC. It grows fruit on five different locations, host multiple events such as wedding and offers the best view in town for its Bistro customers and employees. We are proud to be Prince George no 1 place to visit for its wine and beautiful site. We are looking for an enthusiast gardeners/orchardist for the coming season. The successful candidate can be part of the team at the winery or at the farm on Foreman Rd where the Sunflower Festival takes place.
